The BAIC X55 combines six-airbag occupant protection with intelligent driver-assistance, awareness and parking technology designed to make everyday driving feel more assured.
Protection and awareness
Six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, driver fatigue warning, blind spot detection and front and rear radar are standard across both X55 Premium and Premium Plus.
Forward and highway assistance
Adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with vehicle detection are standard across the range. Premium Plus adds lane keeping, lane departure assist, traffic jam assist and integrated cruise assist.
Parking and low-speed visibility
A rear-view camera with dynamic guidelines and 360° surround-view camera are standard on both models. Premium Plus also adds an under-body camera view for greater visibility when manoeuvring.
Premium Plus assistance
Premium Plus expands the driver-assistance suite further with pedestrian-detection automatic emergency braking, lane keeping support, traffic jam assist and integrated cruise assistance.
Safety and driver-assistance systems are designed to support the driver and do not replace attentive driving. Features vary between X55 Premium and Premium Plus.
